For the second time in the history of our association, we celebrated the end of the carnival together at Aleksinkulma in Oulu.
This year our Fat Thursday took place on Saturday, but no one minded it and the turnout was great!
In accordance with Polish tradition, together we prepared faworki, sweet donuts and two types of “pączki” – donuts with raspberry marmalade and wild rose jam – a gift from the Polish Consul from Helsinki.
There was no shortage of willing hands to work, and there were also a lot of those who wanted to enjoy our delicacies.
Our group is clearly growing and at this meeting we also had the pleasure of hosting people from distant corners of the world.
Thanks to the financial support of the city of Oulu, the meeting was open to all.
Next year, another Fat Thursday organized by SPPF!
