Why is it worth becoming a member of the Association?

The Association of Poles in Northern Finland is a new and active Polish organization based in Northern Finland, primarily operating in the Oulu area. It organizes meetings, trips, events, and other activities with the goal of fostering integration, providing support, and promoting the Polish culture and community

At our meetings, you can meet new friends, share your problems, and receive a lot of useful information (where, what, and how) from people who have been living here for many years and are always happy to welcome new people and their families. Life in exile, far from Polish family and friends, is a challenge for many of us. The Association of Poles in Northern Finland is a group of friendly and energetic people, where you and your loved ones can find a piece of Polish culture in this beautiful part of Finland!

Membership in the Association of Poles in Northern Finland provides regular access to information about current events organized by the Association. Many initiatives involve costs and contributions, such as cooking together, trips, and theme meetings (like Mikołajki – St. Nicholas’ Day or movie events). Members of the Association can count on participating in these events free of charge or at a discount! Membership fees allow the Association to operate dynamically and organize events, which is why financial support is so important to us..

How to join the Association?

All those interested in joining the Association of Poles in Northern Finland, are kindly requested to fill out the Registration Form. Please make the payment of the membership fee to the Association’s account within 21 days from the date of registration. After the payment is made, membership will be confirmed by the Association’s Board.

All individuals interested in joining the Association are required to familiarize themselves with the Association’s regulations and accept them

Membership Fees

The membership fee for a calendar year (January 1 to December 31 of each year) is:

25 Euro for an individual person
40 Euro for a Family (max 2 adults and their children)
10 euros for students and individuals in difficult life situations.

The membership fee should be transferred to the Association’s account according to the information received in the email after submitting the registration form.

All individuals who join the Association of Poles in Northern Finland in the second half of the year are entitled to a 50% discount on the chosen membership fee!
