Marcin Dominik Głuch’s Concert in Oulu – an Exceptional Evening of Polish Music 🎶

On October 4, 2024, an extraordinary concert by Polish pianist, conductor, and composer Marcin Dominik Głuch took place at Oulun Musiikkikeskus 🎶. The event attracted over 130 guests 👥, drawing significant interest from both the local Polish community 🇵🇱 and residents of Oulu 🇫🇮.
We were honored by the presence of the Consul of the Republic of Poland in Helsinki, Mr. Piotr Furmaniak 🤝, who emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Polish diaspora and Polish institutions, expressing his appreciation for the event’s organizers. The Consul’s attendance was not only a show of support for Polish initiatives in Finland but also an opportunity to strengthen cultural ties between Poland and Finland 🎼.
On behalf of the Association of Poles in Northern Finland, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland 🇵🇱 for financially supporting this concert and other Polish diaspora initiatives through the “Polonia and Poles Abroad 2024” program 💼. We would also like to express our deep appreciation to the city of Oulu for its invaluable assistance and hospitality. Thanks to their support, this remarkable event, which will surely be remembered by all participants, was made possible 🎶.
We must also acknowledge the efforts of our wonderful volunteers 🙏. Their dedication, commitment, and support at every stage of the preparations were invaluable. Thanks to them, everything went smoothly, and guests could enjoy an evening filled with beautiful music 🎶❤️.
Thank you to all attendees and supporting institutions. It is thanks to you that such events are possible!
