Costume Ball 2026

Sunday, 22 February 2026, Kumppanuuskeskus

For the third time, the Association of Poles in Northern Finland celebrated the end of the carnival season in the best possible way – with a colourful and energetic costume ball 😊

As every year, our participants’ creativity did not disappoint. Among the guests were a gang of thieves, a pilot, adorable cats, a ninja, a karate fighter, an alien, and even a witch! Every costume was unique and added a magical atmosphere to the event.

There was not a single dull moment on the dance floor. The children enthusiastically took part in games and activities such as “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes,” the musical statue game, and the ever-exciting musical chairs. There were also charades, carnival bingo, and the classic game “Baba Yaga Is Watching,” which – with a real witch present – became an absolute favourite 🎭

In addition to the organised activities, there was time for free play, board games, and socialising. The joyful atmosphere, plenty of laughter, and delicious treats kept everyone’s energy high throughout the event.

Moments like these perfectly show how important it is to meet, spend time together, and build our Polish community. Thank you to all participants for coming, for the fantastic costumes, and for your wonderful energy!

There is nothing more beautiful than shared, joyful fun 💛
