On 24 April, representatives of the Association of Poles in Northern Finland – Ewa Hildén, Chair of SPPF, and Aleksandra Rak-Raszewska, Treasurer of SPPF – participated in a seminar dedicated to funding opportunities for Polish community organizations in Finland, held at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Helsinki.
The event was also attended by representatives of other Polish community organizations operating in Finland, including PTOK, Polish Union in Helsinki – Zjednoczenie Polskie w Helsinkach, and Forum Polonia.
The seminar provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, ask questions, and discuss how to more effectively support Polish communities in Finland – particularly in the areas of culture, education, integration, and social cooperation.
We would like to sincerely thank the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Helsinki for the invitation and for organizing this valuable and inspiring event. Special thanks go to Mr. Piotr Furmaniak, Consul of the Republic of Poland in Helsinki, for his initiative, commitment, and support for Polish organizations operating in Finland.
We also extend our gratitude to all speakers for their informative presentations and valuable guidance, which will undoubtedly support the further development of our association’s activities.
