The Association of Poles in Northern Finland was once again able to invite its members and friends to a free screening of the Polish family film Lampo – The Travelling Dog as part of the 43rd International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Oulu.
The film, directed by Magdalena Nieć, competed alongside more than 100 other short and feature-length films for awards in five different categories at the festival.
The Association of Poles in Northern Finland, which supported the 43rd International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Oulu, is immensely proud that this Polish production received the festival’s main award, given by the children’s jury.
The award was accepted on behalf of the film’s director, Mrs. Magdalena Nieć, by the Chairman of the Association of Poles in Northern Finland, Kajetan Żelech-Alatarvas.
