SPPF Annual General Meeting 2025

The Fourth General Meeting of the Members of the Association of Poles in Northern Finland took place this year near the SPPF office in Kumppanuuskeskus, where key issues regarding the activities of the association were discussed. This year, as many as 19 members of the Association participated in the meeting, both in person and online.

During the meeting, the financial report and the activity report of the Association for the year 2024 were presented. The presentation was unanimously accepted by all present members of the association. The auditor also confirmed the correctness of the financial report for the year 2024.

The next item on the agenda was the discussion of the SPPF activity plan for 2025 and the presentation of the budget proposal for the year. The budget plan for the own funds of SPPF and the budget from received grants were discussed in detail and approved by the members of the Association.

Additionally, a new Board of Directors of SPPF was elected. Ewa Hildén was elected Chairwoman of the Board of the Association for the year 2025.

Anna Litewka-Anttolainen was elected Vice Chairwoman, and Aleksandra Rak-Raszewska took over the position of Treasurer. Piotr Prus was elected as the Secretary of the Association. New members also joined the Board: Monika Ćwiek, Anastazja Okulicz-Kozaryn, and Arek Ćwiek.

Resigning from their positions as Board members were: Kajetan Żelech-Alatarvas, Agnieszka Sallinen, Ewa Czarnocka, and Antoni Gedymin Marcinkiewicz – we thank you for your contributions and work on behalf of the Association!

During the meeting, a new membership fee was also established for students and individuals in difficult life situations, as well as a 50% membership fee for all new members who will join the association in the second half of the year (i.e. from July onwards).
